One pre-doctoral position is available at Ulm University, Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, Immunology and Stem Cell Transplantation from November 1st 2017. The position is part of a DFG grant and funded for 3 years.
The research project in the field of immunology focuses on the role of DNA damage and DNA repair in early lymphocyte development. This will be investigated on human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) that are generated from human fibroblast cell lines, and differentiated into somatic cells in vitro.
- Master degree in Biology, Molecular Medicine, Biochemistry or related fields
- Strong interest in immunology and stem cell biology
- Experience in cell culture and flow cytometry is advantageous •
