The Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics at the University of Vienna announces the position of a university assistant (“prae doc”). The position is at the Department of Business Administration, in the area of innovation and technology management. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a team with two other researchers on the general subject of “Sustainable Innovative Industry (NII)” and will contribute to a further research focus at the faculty.
Duration of employment: 4 year/s
Extent of Employment: 30.0 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: §48 VwGr. B1 Grundstufe (praedoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.
The candidate will be expected to aid in research, teaching and administration, research participation regarding the general subject Sustainable Innovative Industry (NII) in the core theme: Collaboration and Networks. Excellent knowledge of quanitative methods of operations research, for example in simulation, optimization, or multi-agent-systems is required. Participation in research projects/research studies, audit and examination activities, support in teaching activities during evaluations and with requirements of quality assurance.
– We expect the successful candidate to sign a doctoral thesis agreement within 12-18 months.

Completed Diploma or Master studies in one of the following fields: (International) Business, Economics (or related fields); Computer Sciences; Mathematics -Good verbal and written communication skills
