We are looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented candidate with a high degree of curiosity and eagerness to learn and make fundamental scientific discoveries. The candidate should have a master degree in life sciences (biology, microbiology, veterinary medicine or medicine) or an equivalent qualification. Previous experience in virology, molecular and cell biology is essential. Practical experiences in animal models would be an asset.
The position will be for 3 years in the research group “Viral Zoonoses – One Health” (head: Prof. Dr. Gülsah Gabriel). Focus of the research group “Viral Zoonoses – One Health” is to understand the molecular mechanisms of zoonotic virus interspecies transmission from animal-to-man. Payment and social benefits will be in accordance with the regulations of the German TV-AVH (salary agreement for public service employees).
